The August 14th edition of HBO's "World Championship Boxing" pits two-time Light Heavyweight champion Chad Dawson against newly-crowned champ Jean Pascal in a battle for Light Heavyweight dominance. Undefeated in 29 bouts, Dawson has catapulted up the Light Heavyweight ranks using exceptional hand quickness and ring generalship to capture two Light Heavyweight titles along the way. For Dawson, Pascal represents the 7th current or former champion faced in the last 9 bouts and, as significant, Pascal represents a chance for Dawson to capture a third world title in as many years. Undefeated as a Light Heavyweight, Jean Pascal captured the Light Heavyweight title in 2009 and in the same year twice defended that crown against world-class opposition.
